How to make a SadaPay QR code

Three steps, under a minute. No app to install and no account to create.

  1. Enter your IBAN

    Copy the IBAN from Account details in the SadaPay app. Add your name and an amount if you like.

  2. Get your QR card

    A Raast QR code is made instantly in your browser, ready to download as an image.

  3. Share or print it

    Put it on your shop counter or send it on WhatsApp. Payers scan it and the money arrives in SadaPay.

Before you share it

A quick check makes sure every payment reaches you.

  1. Scan the QR with another app (Easypaisa, JazzCash or your bank) and check it shows your name.
  2. Send yourself a small amount, like Rs. 1, to confirm it arrives in SadaPay.
  3. Then print it, put it on your shop counter, or share it on WhatsApp.

Questions

Why can't I make a QR code in the SadaPay app?

SadaPay's app can scan Raast QR codes but cannot create one for receiving money. Your SadaPay account has an IBAN on Raast, so a QR code made from that IBAN lets other apps pay you.

Which apps can scan it?

A SadaPay QR code made here has been scanned successfully in Easypaisa and JazzCash. Banking apps that support Raast QR payments use the same layout. Send yourself a small amount first to be sure.

Is my IBAN sent anywhere?

No. The QR code is made inside your browser. Your IBAN, name and amount are never sent to a server or stored. An IBAN only lets people send money to you; it cannot be used to take money out.

Where do I find my SadaPay IBAN?

In the SadaPay app under Account details. It starts with PK, has 24 characters and contains SADA.

Can I add a fixed amount?

Yes. Enter an amount and it is added to the QR code, so the payer does not have to type it. A QR code with an amount is valid for 30 days; the date is printed on the card. Leave the amount empty for a QR code that never expires and works for any amount.

Does it cost anything?

No. The generator is free, with no sign-up. Download the QR card as an image, print it, or share it on WhatsApp as many times as you like.

Is this made by SadaPay?

No. This is an independent tool, not affiliated with SadaPay, Raast or the State Bank of Pakistan. It only formats your IBAN into a standard Raast QR code.
